Trainee Scheme

The Ministry Trainee Scheme is for men and women who are seriously considering paid gospel work; though those who have completed the scheme often decide to serve God in other spheres.

The Scheme offers both a one-year and two-year programme running from September to September. The two-year programme is part of the Cornhill Ministry Scheme.

The Ministry Trainee scheme divides into three basic areas: 

  • Being taught the bible (Training)
  • Teaching it to others (Ministry)
  • Assisting in practical tasks (Service)

Our Ministry Trainee Scheme is aimed at people who have:

  • Christian maturity, evidenced by a desire to serve others and build up the body of Christ
  • An eagerness to learn
  • A willingness to serve
  • The ability to work as part of a team

The scheme is a good way to help Trainees in deciding whether paid Christian Ministry is the best way for them to serve the Church.
