Duke Street believes that, biblically, the greatest responsibility for instructing children and young people to know and love Jesus Christ belongs to parents.

We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.” Psalm 78:4

All of the activities for children and young people at Duke Street Church exist with the aim of supporting what parents are teaching and seeking to live out at home with their children, never to replace it.

In order to support parents in this tremendous calling, there are regular events that aim to serve the twofold purpose of:
1. Helping train and equip parents for this task.
2. Providing networks for parents to support and encourage one another in this task.

In addition a group of parents meet regularly to pray for our children and young people.
