Care Team

As a church family Jesus teaches us to care for each other in much the same way as any other family.

The main environment for caring at Duke Street is within Fellowship Groups. However the Care Team supplements this with volunteers in the church who are happy to help with visiting, shopping, transport, DIY and other practical needs.

Some volunteers visit people regularly while others who are busy with other commitments help when they can.  Both types of service are valued as important.

The team does not take the place of social and health care workers who are vital for meeting long term or serious needs.
