Distinctive is a group for young people aged between 14 to 18
The aim of Distinctive is to provide space for young people to meet together and grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We do this by having the Bible clearly taught, and offers a chance to explore the relevance of the Gospel in our lives. It is an opportunity for young people to make and develop friendships with each other, to have lots of fun together, and to support each other in prayer.
Distinctive has really helped me in my walk with Jesus and I’ve made loads of friends there. The Bible is really well explained and it’s relevance to our lives is emphasised greatly. I am really excited about the youth group on Friday and hope that more people who don’t usually go to church will hear about God’s grace and mercy
Distinctive rocks because it has the best biscuits and the loveliest people ever! We have loads of fun and study the Bible
There are a variety of socials throughout the term, and every year the group go on a weekend away together.
Distinctive is a great chance to meet with other Christians of the same age, read the Bible, pray, chat and play plenty of mad games!
