Manna House is our name for a monthly outreach ministry to those living on the edge – the lonely, disenfranchised and homeless. On the first Tuesday of each month we open our doors to serve a hot meal for up to sixty guests. We seek to befriend and build relationships with people, seeking to identify any particular needs.
Whilst there are always other agencies who can deal with the real challenges of homelessness, poor mental health and addiction, the Manna House team seeks to reach out with the good news of Jesus Christ. So each week, we hold a Bible Study which people are free to attend, or otherwise, and we are always ready to pray with our guests as they request us to do so.
Our partner organisations are Single People’s Emergency Accommodation in Richmond (SPEAR) and the Vineyard Project in Richmond. Both organisations provide meals, accommodation and support to homeless people.
We also take part in the Richmond-wide Sunday Lunch Scheme once every three months. For more information about Manna House, please contact the Church Office here.
