About Sundays at Duke Street
We meet twice on a Sunday at 10.00am and 5.30pm. Because we want the Bible to drive our Church Life together, the heart of our meetings is the preaching and teaching of a Bible passage which usually lasts for up to thirty minutes. Everyone is encouraged to ask the speaker questions before they leave. We love to sing together and use a mixture of musical styles and songs, new and old.
During the morning service, we have a crèche for infants, a Sunday School for children and a youth programme. You can see more details about our Rock Solid Sunday School here, and our Youth Programme here. We also have a soundproof room where nursing mothers can view and hear the service (and not the other way around!)
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper twice a month, on the first Sunday of the month at 5.30pm and the third Sunday of the month at 10.00am. We welcome people from all kinds of different Christian denominations to join with us in the Lord’s Supper. All we ask is that you are personally trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ and his work of the cross for your salvation, and are in good relationship with your brothers and sisters in Christ.
After the morning service, the Church family enjoys refreshments in our Leaf & Bean Café after the morning service. Every other month we have a church-wide Bring n’Share lunch in our Fellowship Hall.
If you would like prayer for anything that’s on your mind, or going on in your life, there is someone available to pray for or with you after each service.
